Happy Friday and Merry Christmas!
The day is nearly here! I hope you’ve been able to find pockets of time to spend with the Lord amid the busy and hectic activities that often accompany this merry season.
We’ve been looking at all the things Jesus came to do when He left heaven, emptied Himself of His glory, and put on human flesh 2,000 years ago.
Christ came to…
1. Bring peace. (Ephesians 2:14-18)
2. Bring a sword. (Matthew 10:34)
3. Bind up broken hearts. (Isaiah 61:1-3)
4. Give us the spirit of adoption. (John 14:16-17; Galatians 4:6)
5. Make us partakers of the divine nature. (2 Peter 1:4)
6. Reign as king. (Isaiah 9:6-7)
What stands out to you from this week’s list?
For those of you who have an empty seat at the table in your home this season, I’m praying for you.
